Found this recipe on Tarla Dalal site, made it with a few modifications. Re posting for the sake of my readers :)
2)Take off heat and let cool once the onion softens. Grind to a fine paste.
3) Heat oil. Add the ground paste and saute till the oil disappears.
4) Add turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala and salt. Mix well.
5) Add the curd and mint leaves.
6) Add the baby potatoes.
7) Garnish with coriander leaves. Server hot with roti/bread.
Serves: 2-3 people
Ingredients
For the paste:
- Ginger- 1 small piece
- Garlic - about 8 cloves
- Onion - 1 large coursely chopped
- Cashew nuts -10-12
- Green chillies - 2
Other ingredients:
- Baby potatoes (Boiled and peeled) - 14-15
- Mint leaves - 2 tbsp chopped
- Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp chopped
- Curd - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chili powder - 2 tsp (adjust as per taste)
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
Method
1) Boil all the ingredients for the paste in about a cup of water till the onion softens.
