Idli chili

I had a lot of leftover idlis and so decided to try this recipe!!

Serves - 2

Ingredients:

  1. Idlis - 4 (chopped into square pieces)
  2. Ginger grated - 1 tsp
  3. Garlic minced - 1 tsp
  4. Green chillies - 3 vertically slit
  5. Onion - 1 large - chopped vertically
  6. Capsicum - 1 chopped into large pieces
  7. Soya sauce - 1 tsp
  8. Tomato ketchup - 2 tsp
  9. Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  10. Oil - 2 tbsp - for frying

Method:

1) Heat oil. Fry the ginger, garlic and green chillies

2) Add onion and capsicum. Fry till soft

3) Add the soya sauce, tomato ketchup and salt. Mix thoroughly

4) Add idli pieces and mix well. 

5) Sprinkle pepper powder. Serve hot.
